When you go for an interview, it is important to have an agenda and it should be similar as follows
- Present compelling evidence of your experience, skills, achievements, knowledge and your ability to deliver to meet the organisation requirements.
- Reveal your personality and style and your ability to work well with others.
- Assess how the organisation meets your needs on job content, working environment, work values, culture style and career prospects. It is important that if the company does not meet your expectations, then consider walking away because you don’t want to succeed in getting a job and then after a month you find out that you have made a huge mistake.
- Get the organisation excited about employing you.
Dont forget the interview’s agenda is as follows
- Assess you for a) Chemistry (ability to work effectively with management, staff, colleagues and customers), b) Competency (ability to perform the task required) and c) Culture (ability to mesh within the organisation’s mission, values and structure).
- Get a clear picture of your experiences, achievements and capabilities.
- Compare you with other good candidates.
Best of luck.
